Divorce settlement between Nush Afarin Khanum (daughter of the late Sadiq Khan) with her husband Aqa Hasan Shari‘atmadar (the local religious notable); the setllement covers Nushafarin Khanum's mahr and alimony and her other rights. All of the clothes and other belongings, worth 75 tumans, were received and and repossessed. Because of the mutually agreed divorce, her husband gave Mirza Asad Allah power of attorney to execute the divorce based on the divorce contract. The second wife of Mirza Fazl Allah Khan [Agha Baygum Khanum] transfers the ownership of all her belongings (including whatever she owns until her death) to her son, Riza Quli Khan, in exchange for one hundred dinars. The condition is that Riza Quli Khan will be responsible for the food and clothing expenses of his mother as long as she lives. The document reads in part: Haji Mulla Husayn, the preacher, settled 1500 tumans with three of his sons, Mirza Muhammad Riza Khadim, Shaykh Muhammad Baqir, and Shaykh ʻAbd al-ʻAli, for a man [three kilograms] of salt. Settlement between Ma‘sumah Khanum, daughter of the late Muzaffar al-Dawlah, and her husband, Hamid Mirza Yavar [artillery colonel], over her paternal inheritance for one charik [unit of weight] nabat. On June 4, 1880, Hamid Mirza Yavar transferred all the inheritance to Ma‘sumah Khanum for some nabat [crystal sugar] and one misqal [unit of weight] of silver.
